Opportunity Summary
Position Overview: As the Operation Specialist at VICI Learning, you will play a pivotal leadership role supervising tutors, setting high customer service standards for our clients, and ensuring seamless operations. You will be the welcoming face for our day-to-day operations supporting our clients and tutors with their scheduled sessions, reports, and accounts. Jumping-in to help others is a second nature to you, whether it is helping parents, students, or tutors. You are tech-savvy to deliver operational efficiencies and deliver customer service that is second-to-none! You are resourceful, creative, and a driven individual making you great at problem-solving and generating results. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: • Familiar with the local BC education system and curriculum. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with clients and tutors. • Excellent computer and technical skills: Microsoft office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint), booking software, accounting systems, and Canva. • Strong analytical skills to generate and analyze business performance. • 3-5 years of experience in a customer service or leadership role. • 2 years of experience in the education industry is an asset. • Self-motivation and go-getter attitude that will take initiative to ensure the success of the organization. • Ability to multitask and work well under-pressure to manage changing seasonality of the industry. • Interpersonal and leadership skills to foster great team culture and client relations. • Organization and attention to detail required to manage client’s accounts, process payments, and accurate reporting. Education Requirements: • Post-secondary degree in any field or equivalent education is a must. • Class 5 Driver License is a strong asset. Opportunity Responsibilities
Principal Responsibilities: • Manage tutoring schedules for both private and group tutoring to ensure efficient and consistent operations. • Supervise and support tutors ensuring consistent performance and adherence to tutoring best practices. • Conduct regular follow-ups with clients to check on student’s performance outside of tutoring sessions, gauge satisfaction level, and address any concerns. • Manage new client inquiries and onboarding. • Develop and maintain tutoring resources and systems for the tutors. • Create and manage client, tutor, and business reporting to measure service quality and effectiveness. • Assist with tutor hiring and onboarding. • Other duties as necessary.
